Ways to advertise your pampered chef business
Just becoming a Pampered Chef consultant or pampered chef hostess can be a fun and exciting time, but it can also be a confusing time. Although I just began pampered chef, I have many years of sales and marketing experience on and off the web. In this article, I will try to share a few tried and true methods of starting a successful network business.
Now that you have become a pampered chef consultant, what do you do now? You need to advertise and expose your business to as many people as possible! But not necessarily paid advertising. You can advertise your pampered chef website in many different ways. Here are some quick suggestions and things you can do to advertise your Pampered Chef business. A lot of them are FREE or very low cost!
- Use Free email signature tags in all emails that you send out. Both on your personal emails and business emails. This way everyone knows about your pampered chef website or business without having to blatantly promote it to them.
- Register your pampered chef website on Every free search engine that you can find.
- Sign up and Register your pampered chef website with all the free Online Shopping Directories.
- In your spare time, go to other peoples personal websites or my space pages and sign their guest books, make sure you include the info for the person that owns the guestbook or visitors to find your website. You don’t even have to know the person, just drop by their site and say hi.
- Read your local newspaper and look for the bridal announcements. You can send a catalog, business card or include a flyer for the new bride announcing your bridal registry.
- pampered chef open house flyers While browsing your local newspaper also look in the classified ads for Home Based Day Care Centers. You can send catalogs, flyers, and business cards to the home daycare owners. Point out how they can have a party and earn free items for their home based daycare.
- Send out a monthly Email Newsletter after each show that you do. Send it to all previous guests and new guests of your shows. This is a good way to keep customers informed of new Products, Sales and Promotions, Hostess Specials, and more. This will entice your customers to purchase and/or hold their own Pampered Chef parties.
- Hold a Mystery Hostess Open House party. Do this a few times per year. Send out invites to everyone that has ever attended your past parties and also post flyers everywhere that you can think of. It is good for these types of parties to be as large as possible to expand your network. Offer door prizes, refreshments, and do a demo of some of the Pampered Chef catalog products. Tell everyone who comes that for each product they order, they will get one entry, if they bring a friend they earn a bonus entry, and if they book a party at your party they get 3 more entries. At the end of the party, draw a name and the winner becomes the hostess and earns all the free stuff that you recieve for that party. Don’t think of it as giving away the free stuff you would have received, think of it more as a way to make your network 5 times larger.
- Contact local bingo halls or organizations that have bingo. Tell them that you will donate a prize for their bingo games. Make sure you include a business flyer, a catalog, a business card with the prize you are donating.
- Get 2 types of business cards, high quality cards to give out at parties and to friends, and a cheaper low cost version to pass out everywhere. This way you can leave stacks of the low cost ones anywhere.
